PGR in the west

At a regional scale, PGR is provided on a shire basis every week.  Shire level PGR are also broadcasted through Bunbury, Albany and Esperance regional ABC radios.

At the farm and paddock level, PGR is provided on a weekly basis during the growing season in a report format which is either available through a customised producer web page or emailed to registered producers or automatically downloaded with the Pasture Watch software.  

Validation of the data in WA will be through the establishment of 5 focus farms in Dandaragan, Moora, Brookton, Darkan and Kojonup as outlined in the Pastures from Space project approved by AWI.  Each of these sites will have a number of satellite farms associated with it.
